According to a CNBC report, The WWE will become part of the Endeavor Group. The Endeavor Group is the parent company of the UFC, Ultimate Fighting Championship. This is BIG news for the WWE because the new parent company plans on merging the UFC and WWE into a giant publicly-traded entity !
Former CEO but still Executive Chairman (the legendary) Vince McMahon, was rumored in 2022 to have been trying to sell the WWE following some sex scandals he was going through. This is believed to also be the reason Vince McMahon stepped down as CEO of the company.
WWE Vs. UFC?
So what does this mean for the two entertainment giants ? We can’t be sure yet.. However we think it is safe to say that we can expect to see more athletes crossing the bridge between both kinds of fighting. In the past, we have seen several popular UFC athletes make guest appearances in the ring at the WWE. And we have even seen athletes like Brock Lesnar, who started in the WWE then later joined the UFC and became one of the most memorable fighters ever in both the octagon and the ring ! We expect that the new parent company Endeavor Group, will encourage certain athletes to move to the other stage to maximize their profits. Because obviously we’d all LOVE to see our favorite WWE wrestlers kick ass in the UFC octagon! And we’d also love to see our favorite UFC fighters get in the WWE ring with the most ferocious wrestlers the world has to offer !
The Endeavor Group Business Estimates
The WWE has established its massive fanbase over the last 70 years !! This entertainment giant has a lot to bring to the table for Endeavor. Now the UFC has been established for 30 years and also brings in huge numbers. So for these two companies to create one publicly traded entity is groundbreaking.
This merge will create an increase to access to capital which means the company will have a SHIT TON of money to play around with. So we expect to see some big moves be made right off the bat. This does pose a bit of a risk for them and their future stock price. However we do trust that Endeavor Group knows what they are doing. And so we predict that this new WWE x UFC stock will likely be one of the greatest stock picks this year and a healthy stock pick for years to come.
