The Jordan 1 sneaker was designed 3 years later than the nike air force 1 in 1985. The sole of the shoe has some similarities but is ,much thinner than the air force 1. This makes the shoe lighter and more maneuverable but also less comfortable due to the lack of cushion.
The Jordan 1 also has a much more narrow toe box and a tighter fit. The idea of this was to reduce the moving of the foot inside the shoe to reduce blisters when pivoting on the court.
